2 - Appearance Of Muktaraj Mama

It was the year 1922 A.D. Shakuba and Gigabhai were expecting their fifth child. Gigabhai and Shakuba were feeling euphoric. They were feeling blissful without any reason. Shakuba told Gigabhai, ‘Right from the beginning of pregnancy, I have the Darshan of Maharaj quite often. I feel as if Maharaj is with me all the time. I feel happy all the time. I feel blissful while worshipping God. I do not enjoy other activities which are not related to God.’ Gigabhai also confessed, ‘I also feel cheerful. Look at the kids! They are also cheerful. I feel that the child to be born must be a great soul!’ Shakuba agreed, ‘I also feel the same. And today, the bliss has increased manyfolds! The whole atmosphere is dancing with joy!’ Gigabhai joined in, ‘Yes, you are right. Today even the idol of God in the temple was spreading happiness all around by laughing happily. The trees-leaves etc. are also swaying andswinging with joy!’ Shakuba said, ‘Today the blissfulness is of a very special kind.

The intuition of Gigabhai and Shakuba came true. That morning, Muktaraj appeared as a son of Shakuba at 10:46 a.m. sharp. The auspicious day was Thursday. He appeared on February 16th, 1922, Thursday. The whole existence was blissful (As per Hindu Calender Samvat 1978, Maha Vadi Pancham).

Shakuba was full of joy looking at the handsome and glorious face of the child. Gigabhai felt happy and content looking at the face of the new born child. He told Shakuba, ‘Wow! Look at our child! He is looking glorious! I feel that he is certainly a Mukta of God. His beautiful face reminds me of the laughing idol of Shreeji Maharaj. Let us keep his name 'Narayan' so that his name reminds us of Maharaj.’ Shakuba also liked the name very much. His brothers and sisters were also dancing with joy while calling him Narayan-Narayan. They did not feel exhausted while playing with the new born child. Thus, everyone was full of joy.
