9 - Definition Of An Anadimukta and Darshan To Friends
It so happened one day. Abjibhai had finished his work in the field. He had a wash and sat down under a tree to meditate. All the friends arrived. Abjibhai did not wake up from the meditation.
Kunvarji complained, ‘Abjibhai is always sitting with his eyes closed.’ Jadavji explained, ‘He says that he meditates.’ Dhanji informed, ‘My father says that Abjibhai is Anadimukta and he has appeared through God’s boon.’ Gangji confirmed, ‘Yes, it is true. That is way he can perform miracles.’
Natha said, ‘Abjibhai reminds us now and then to worship God.’ Such conversation was going on when Abjibhai woke up from his meditation.
Dhanji inquired, ‘Abjibhai, were you meditating?’ Abjibhai replied, ‘Yes, as soon as I close my eyes I see the idol of Maharaj. I feel blissful.’ Gangji asked, ‘Even more blissful than playing games with us?’ Abjibhai admitted, ‘Meditation is the most blissful experience in this life.’
Kanji was inquisitive, ‘Dhanji says that you are an Anadimukta and you can experience God all the time.’ Kunvarji asked, ‘Abjibhai, who is an Anadimukta?’ Abjibhai explained, ‘Anadimukta is the one who remains immersed in the bliss of the divine form of Maharaj. As a fish lives in the water, similarly an Anadimukta lives in the divine form of Maharaj. Anadimukta does not perform a miracle, but Shreeji Maharaj performs it through him. Anadimukta remains absorbed into the bliss of Maharaj.’
Gangji was confused, ‘Abjibhai, I could not follow you.’ Abjibhai clarified, ‘Now listen, when we play catch & catch, we concentrate on a person who is to be caught. Similarly full attention of an Anadimukta is focused on Maharaj. As sugar dissolves into milk, similarly an Anadimukta dissolves into the idol of Maharaj. Maharaj Himself acts through him, so no task is impossible for an Anadimukta.’
Gangji asked, ‘Are you also an Anadimukta?’ Abjibhai smiled. Dhanji pleaded, ‘Abjibhai, you are a great Mukta, would you help us to have Darshan of God?’ Abjibhai was pleased, ‘I will. I will certainly help you. By God’s grace, all of you will have Darshan of God. Please close your eyes and try to visualize the idol of God.’
They followed his instructions. Abjibhai described each and every part of God. And behold! They all were blessed with the Darshan of God! They were feeling full of joy by having Darshan of God. They were fully absorbed into the vision of God. After a while Abjibhai uttered, ‘Jai Sahajanand Swami Maharaj. All rise.’
They opened their eyes. Kanji was thrilled, ‘Wow! Abjibhai, you made us have Darshan of God very well. Why did you wake me up? I was feeling blissful!’ Dhanji was excited, ‘I saw Dharmpita and Bhaktimata along with Shreeji Maharaj.’ Kunvarji disclosed, ‘I had Darshan of Hari Krishna Maharaj.’ And Jadavji declosed, ‘I had Darshan of Ghanshyam Maharaj.’
Every one discussed their experiences of Darshan. Abjibhai said, ‘Today Maharaj was very pleased with all of you. Therefore, you had such a beautiful Darshan. You should not discuss this experience with other people. This is the secret of meditation.’ All the friends went home delighted.
