શ્લોક ૧૦૬

त्रिगुणात्मा तम: कृष्णशक्तिर्देहतदीययो: ।

जीवस्य चाहंममताहेतुर्मायावगम्यताम् ॥106॥

અને જે માયા છે તે ત્રિગુણાત્મિકા છે ને અંધકારરૂપ છે, ને શ્રીકૃષ્ણ ભગવાનની શક્તિ છે. અને આ જીવને, દેહ તથા દેહના જે સંબંધી, તેમને વિષે અહંમમત્વની કરાવનારી છે એમ માયાને જાણવી. ॥106॥

And the Maya, i.e. illusion, has three attributes and is similar to darkness and it is the power of Shri Krishna Bhagwan. And it creates attachment and binds the soul with body and to the objects related to body these are the characteristics of Maya. || 106 ||
