શ્લોક ૧૭૭

देवताप्रतिमां हित्वा लेख्या काष्ठादिजाऽपि वा ।

न योषित्प्रतिमा स्पृश्या न वीक्ष्या बुद्धिपूर्वकम्॥177॥

અને દેવતાની પ્રતિમા વિના, બીજી જે સ્ત્રીની પ્રતિમા ચિત્રની અથવા કાષ્ઠાદિકની હોય, તેનો સ્પર્શ ન કરવો; અને જાણીને તો તે પ્રતિમાને જોવી પણ નહિ. ॥177॥

And except the idol of a deity, they should not touch the picture of a woman or a statue of a woman made of wood etc. materials, and he should not even look at such statues knowingly. || 177 ||
