શ્લોક ૨૨

देवतायै भवेद्यस्य सुरामांसनिवेदनम् ।

यत्पुरोऽजादिहिंसा च न भक्ष्यं तन्निवेदितम् ॥22॥

અને જે દેવતાને સુરા અને માંસનું નૈવેદ્ય થતું હોય અને વળી જે દેવતાની આગળ બકરા આદિક જીવની હિંસા થતી હોય, તે દેવતાનું નૈવેદ્ય ન ખાવું. ॥22॥

And the deities to whom meat and wine are being offered and for whom goats etc. living beings are being sacrificed, the offerings to such deities should not be accepted. || 22 ||
