શ્લોક ૧૬૯

वेषो न धार्यस्ताभिश्च सुवासिन्या: स्त्रियास्तथा ।

न्यासिन्या वीतरागाया विकृतश्च न कर्हिचित्॥169॥

અને તે વિધવા સ્ત્રીઓ તેમણે સુવાસિની સ્ત્રીના જેવો વેષ ન ધારવો તથા સંન્યાસણી, તથા વેરાગણી તેના જેવો વેષ ન ધારવો; અને પોતાના દેશ, કુળ અને આચાર તેને વિરુદ્ધ એવો જે વેષ તે પણ ક્યારેય ન ધારવો. ॥169॥

And a widow should not dress up like a 'Suvasini' i.e. a married woman whose husband is alive, 'Sanyasini' or a 'Vairagini'. And she should never dress up in the clothes which are not appropriate for her place, family and her code of conduct. || 169 ||
