શ્લોક ૭૪

पूर्वैर्महद्भिरपि यदधर्माचरणं क्वचित् ।

कृतं स्यात्तत्तु न ग्राह्यं ग्राह्यो धर्मस्तु तत्कृत:॥74॥

અને પૂર્વે થયા જે મોટા પુરુષ, તેમણે પણ જો ક્યારેક અધર્માચરણ કર્યું હોય તો, તેનું ગ્રહણ ન કરવું અને તેમણે જે ધર્માચરણ કર્યું હોય તો તેનું ગ્રહણ કરવું. ॥74॥

And if the great people of the past had not followed the code of conduct as an exception, they should not be imitated. But they should be imitated for following the code of conduct. || 74 ||
